This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We are expanding our team and are recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Partner to play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, hiring and retaining top talent.

You will manage end to end recruitment and search processes, ensure quality hires, an efficient and effective in-house recruitment service that prioritises direct hiring, and high-touch candidate/ hiring manager experience.

You will embed robust reporting, recruitment best practice, talent mapping, networking and talent pipeline building.

Essential experience:

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition/recruitment from a corporate in-house and/or agency environment.
  • Demonstrable record of delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Familiarity with ATS (applicant tracking systems) platforms, to manage candidate data, track progress, and streamline the recruitment process.
  • Willing and able to travel to depots throughout Scotland and England.

Desirable Experience:

  • Industry exposure of hire or construction

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with hiring managers, candidates and the wider people and culture team.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with capacity to manage and prioritise multiple priorities, deadlines, and requirements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail especially with written communication.
  • Resilience and tenacity, target driven with a continuous improvement mind-set.
  • Problem solving skills and ability to think innovatively to overcome recruitment challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage and coordinate the full life cycle of attraction and recruitment processes across the business.
  • Develop supplier agreements for permanent and temporary positions to support attraction and recruitment strategy.
  • Evaluate and improve recruitment processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and candidate experience.
  • Utilise various sourcing methods; LinkedIn, job boards, social media sharing, headhunting, employee referrals and internal advertising.
  • Manage and coordinate the hiring manager interview process ensuring interview best practice and coaching managers where needed.
  • Business partnering with and advising a diverse range of multi-disciplinary hiring managers.
  • Research, build and maintain talent pipelines in key skills shortage areas to support future hiring needs and where needed external succession planning, in line with the business strategy.
  • Partner and engage with carefully selected recruitment or search agencies where appropriate.
  • Talent acquisition project management and contribution across EDI, systems enhancements/implementations and employer brand building.
